Richard E. Gardner Jr., 87, of Hebron, N.H., was called Home on August 18, 2014. Born in Peppered, MA, May 28,1927, Richard was the older son of Mildred Kemp and Richard Gardner of Peppered, MA. Two brothers Grant and David and his sister Charlene predeceased him. Richard was a dedicated English teacher for 43 years enjoying his career in the public schools of Littleton, MA and Concord MA. He also was a WWII veteran who received an Honorable Discharge. Richard lived a simple and good life. He was a devoted husband, avid reader, loved to travel, listen to music and garden. He especially enjoyed his Seminole, FL retirement home. In addition to his wife Marie-Therese, he is survived by his three adopted daughters Michelle, Denyse and Janis; four grand children Todd, David, Krista, and Jaime; three great grand children Max, Norah, Griffin and brother on the way. On his family side, Richard is survived by a nephew Grant Jr. and family, several nephews and nieces and two sisters-in-law Marlene Gardner and Tissy Gardner. Richard belonged to the Holy Trinity church on Langdon St. in Plymouth, N.H. There will be no calling hours. A mass is scheduled on Saturday, August 23, at noon at the Hoiy Trinity catholic church.
