David Edward Labadie, (67), of Campton, passed away on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at his home. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on January 10, 1947, David was the son of David J. and Margaret A. (Keefe) Labadie. David grew up and lived in Weymouth, until moving to Campton with wife Cynthia 7years ago. David worked for the Town of Weymouth for many years as the Veteran Affairs Agent, responsible for care of veterans living in the Town of Weymouth prior to retiring in 2007. David also served in the United States Army serving in Vietnam. David was also a member of the VFW and past exalted ruler for the Elks Lodge 2232 in Weymouth, Massachussets. He was also a member of Elks Lodge 2312 in Plymouth, New Hampshire. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Cynthia (Ruggles) Labadie, of Campton, NH, son Craig Labadie and daughter in law Cornelia Fabian of Buffalo, New York. David is predeceased by his parents. Memorial calling hours will be held at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon Street, Plymouth, N.H. on Friday August 22, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Donations in David’s memory may be made to Elks Lodge 2312, Plymouth, NH.
