Elizabeth Ann Young, 83, of Riverside Drive, Campton, died August 11, 2014, at Lakes Region General Hospital, in Laconia. Born in Tunbridge, Vermont on May 4, 1931, Elizabeth was the daughter of Harry and Clara (Allen) Bliss. Elizabeth grew up in Bradford, VT and graduated from Bradford Schools. She moved to Ashland, NH. in 1968 where she resided until 1988. . She has been a resident of Campton for about the past twenty-six years. Elizabeth has worked most all her life as a laborer in several factories in the area including, Former Sprague Electric, Plymouth, former L.W. Packard, in Ashland, former Amatex Corporation, in Meredith, and Plymouth Stitching. In her early years, Elizabeth worked as a waitress in Wells River, VT. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of fifty-one years, Dale Wayne Young, who died in February of 2004, her sons Melvin, who died in 1973, and Dale H. “Butch” Young, who died in 2001. Elizabeth is survived by sons, Terry H. Young of Vinalhaven, ME, Randy J. Young and his wife Wendy, of Plymouth, David T. Young of Campton, daughters, Sheri J. O’Neil and her husband Jeff, of Moultonborough, Candice M. Dussault and her husband Paul, of Manchester, Tina A. Young of Meredith, six grandchildren, Connor O’Neil, Sheri Coleman and her husband Curtis, Lilly O’Neil, Kelldah Sousa, Amanda Rippa, Stacey Jeff, five great grandchildren, Caroline, Georgia, and Cooper Coleman, Makenzie, and Alex Rippa, sister Lois Syndey of Meredith, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
