Joan Fay MacDonald, 74, of Daniel Webster Highway, died June 30, 2014, at her home, after a long illness. Born in Plymouth on October 9, 1939, Joan was the daughter of Charles L. and Dorothy Arlene (Goodwin) Currier. Joan attended Plymouth schools and has been a resident of Plymouth for most all her. Joan worked for various businesses in the Plymouth area, including, the First National Supermarket, J.J. Newberry’s, the Over Flow Restaurant, and for many years for the Plymouth School District in the food service department. Joan was a member of the United Methodist Church, in Ashland, NH. Joan is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, John A. MacDonald of Plymouth, sons, John J. MacDonald and his wife Monique of Thornton, Jeffrey A. MacDonald and his wife Karen lee of Ashland, James M. MacDonald and Joseph M. MacDonald, both of Plymouth, twelve grandchildren, one great granddaughter, sister, Sandra Hawkensen of Hill, NH, numerous nieces and nephews.
