Terrence Alan Noack, Sr., 67, of Ashland, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester, after a lengthy illness. Born on June 7, 1946, in Meriden, CT., he was one of eleven children of Frederick and Velma (Farwell) Noack. Terry was raised throughout New England, graduating from the East Hampton High School, in Connecticut, Class of 1964. After graduation Terry enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served with honor during the Vietnam War, in Thailand. Upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Terry and his family moved to Virginia where they resided a short while before relocating to Rumney where he finished raising his family. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed photography, hiking, canoeing, nature, and fishing. He was a long-time employee with the Manchester Union Leader where he worked as a news distributor. Terry was well known for his great sense of humor; he had a knack for making people smile and laugh whenever he could. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends throughout the area. He is predeceased by his parents, three brothers, a sister-in-law, a niece, and a nephew. Terry is survived by his beloved wife of forty five years, Barbara (Moon) Noack, of Ashland; son, Terrence A. Noack, Jr., of Meredith; daughter, Wendy Lee Medeiros and husband Earl, of Fall River, MA; four grandchildren, Holden Irving, Tyler Irving, Cullen Bourgault, and Kylie Medeiros; great-granddaughter, Sara Irving; seven brothers, Dennis, Kim, Kerri, Gerri, Tammy, and Tucker (Noack), and Legrand Irwin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
