Ryan McGillicuddy

Ryan James McGillicuddy passed away unexpectedly in his home in Rumney, NH Sunday, May 24, 2015. Ryan was born on September 16th, 1972 in Reading, MA the son of Donald and Gerry Ann. He spent his youth in Reading while also enjoying the families’ vacation home in Moultonborough, NH. Ryan graduated from Moultonborough Academy in 1991 and Keene State College in 1995 with a BS in psychology. He went on to work for ten years as a Behavior Specialist at the Hunter School in Rumney, NH. His most recent employment has been at CruCon Cruise Outlet in Center Harbor, NH where he found a family among his co-workers. Ryan shared a camaraderie sprinkled with his keen wit and unique sense of humor to make him a well-loved employee. Ryan’s family and friends remember him as a gentle soul with a kind heart. He gave of himself unselfishly to anyone in need. He loved his home and the feeling of being close to nature. One recent project that Ryan enjoyed with his son, Breyan was to dig a pond in his back yard to accommodate their pet ducks! He also was proud to be a member of the Masonic Temple, Moosehillock Lodge of Warren, NH. His wife, Karadawn Mauchly McGillicuddy and their ten-year-old son, Breyan and two-step children, Katie White and partner, Jeremy Drake and their daughter, Emily of Raymore, MO. and Dustin Farrell of Rumney, survive him. He is also survived by his brother Michael and partner, Stacey Jolin of Boxford, MA as well as his sister Robyn, her husband Michael Kotarski and two nephews Mason and Simon Kotarski also of Boxford. Also, his mother-in-law, Kathy Keefe of Wentworth, NH and father-in-law Jim Mauchly and wife Bernie of Fairlee, VT, brother-in-laws Nathaniel Koelb of Wentworth, NH and Kristopher Mauchly and wife, Bethany of Nottingham, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a contribution to Breyan’s 529 College Fund.
