Wayne Leroy Tyrrell, 87, of River Road, Bridgewater, died February 24, 2015 at Speare Memorial hospital, Plymouth, NH. Born on September 21, 1927 in Alexandria, NH, he was the son of Leroy and Melva (Adams) Tyrrell. Wayne was raised in a small dirt floored log cabin and walked to the Alexandria one room school house until graduating the eighth grade. Wayne was drafted into the Army during the Korean War where he served in the 40th Division of the California National Guard as part of the 224th Regiment from 1951 to 1952. He was honorably discharged as a private first class. Wayne worked as a maintenance engineer at the Freudenberg NOK plant in Bristol New Hampshire for forty-two years. Wayne is predeceased by his wife, Edna M. (Brown) Tyrrell, who died in January of 2014.. His passion for the great outdoors he shared with family and friends taking many fishing and hunting trips. He loved to make things grow and kept a lush vegetable garden well into his eighties. He was a loving husband and beloved father whose steady support and devotion will be greatly missed. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn A Tyrrell of Bridgewater, a half sister Evelyn Curley of Costa Mesa California.
