Marybelle Peyton Ziesing Klein “Teedee”, 80, of Center Sandwich, NH, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 29th 2013 at her home in New Hampshire, after a long battle with dementia.
Teedee, daughter to Henry and Marybelle Ziesing was born on February 22, 1933, raised in Wayne , PA and married 56 years to Gilbert Wood Klein Sr.
She is survived by her husband Gil, and two sons Gilbert Jr. (Gib) and Thomas (Tom). She is also survived by her daughter in law, Jennifer, wife to Gib and mother to Teedee’s three grandchildren; Peyton, Justis and Averey Klein. Teedee graduated from Shipley School in 1951 followed by earning an Associate’s Degree from Bennett Junior College.
In addition to raising her two boys, Teedee worked for years in several Main Line retail shops and had a real love and talent for helping people.
She was also a longtime volunteer for several organizations including The Bryn Mawr Hospital, The Community Clothes Charity and in the summer at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Teedee recently earned honorary membership status to the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Woman’s Board for her many years of service while living in Rosemont, PA as she did for most of her married life.
Her real passion was entertaining and making the people in her life feel loved, she will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church on Thursday, January 16th at 11 am.
