Helen Miller

Helen Elaine Miller, 88, a lifelong resident of Meredith, passed away at the Golden View Health Care Center, on Monday, March 4, 2013. Born in Laconia on July 23, 1924, she was the daughter of Frank and Eva (Morin) Mooney. Helen was raised in Meredith, graduating from the Meredith High School. Helen worked for the Harry A. Wallace Oil Co. for forty three years; she was active in the town of Meredith and was a member of the committee for the construction of the new Meredith Community Center. Helen was a member of the 50+ Club, and the CAP Club. Helen loved crocheting and was always making hand towels and other crocheted gifts for friends and relatives, she also liked to make fudge which she generously gave to friends and family. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Delmar C. Miller, and a son, Richard Miller, in 2008. Helen is survived by her daughter, Judy Manning and husband Lee, of Meredith; daughter-in-law, Beth Miller, of Meredith; six grandchildren, Tina Shepherd, of New Hampton, Kim Beede, of Moultonborough, Christine Cormier, of Conway, Kevin Miller, of Nashua, Karla Page, of Merrimack, and Kori Manning, of San Diego, CA; three sisters, Alice Ladd, Rita Lance, and Diane Ruel, all of Meredith; two brothers, Frank Mooney, of Frankford, DE, and Richard Mooney, of Bridgeville, DE; ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends throughout the area.
